Abstract Landscapes Rooted in Place

My original paintings are expressive abstract landscapes inspired by land and sea. Rooted in the natural world, they explore the relationship between memory and our experience of place — capturing nature’s movement, light, and emotional presence.

I’m fascinated by the way landscapes imprint themselves on us, long after we’ve moved on. My work seeks to evoke the intangible — the sensory fragments we carry: sound, scent, rhythm, repetition, and shifting light. Through colour and gesture, each painting becomes a reimagining of a landscape’s essential parts — an interweaving of memory, experience, shared histories, and collective narratives.
